Murray Ord

Executive Producer

Murray’s career in film and television spans over twenty-five years in every aspect of the industry including development, financing and production.
 
From 1996 to 2001, Murray was President of the Alberta Film Commission. During his productive term, Murray was responsible for bringing numerous film and television projects to Alberta including Shanghai Noon, Mystery, Alaska, Wild America and the television series Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

Since the formation of Alberta Film Entertainment, Murray has co-produced BrokebackMountain for Focus Features, The Ron Clark Story for Hallmark,  Holiday in Handcuffs and Santa Baby for ABC and the television series Dinosapien for BBC.
